Ben Peacock, Senior Director of Technology

Ben earned a BA in Chinese Language from the University of Michigan (2001) and an MA in International Education from The George Washington University (2010), where he focused on technology in education. His tenure at CET launched in 2005 when he moved to Beijing to serve as the Resident Director of the pilot Chinese Studies & Internship program there. After returning to the United States in 2007, Ben’s focus switched from Chinese language to computer languages. He develops in Ruby on Rails and is a Zend-certified PHP engineer. Now the CET Director of Technology, Ben manages CET’s technology needs, including web development, server administration, database management, and user support. He works remotely from his home office in Salt Lake City, Utah.
