Lauren has always been captivated by the world around her and has developed a lifelong enthusiasm for history, art, and travel. Growing up in the “City of Bridges” aka Pittsburgh, she developed her love of solving riddles via the classic PBS TV shows Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and Ghostwriter. Later on, she earned a BA in Political Science from Temple University focusing on comparative politics in Latin America.
In her free time, Lauren indulges in a variety of creative pursuits, including reading, sketching, and collecting vintage jewelry. She continues to explore and appreciate the countless international influences and activities Washington DC has to offer.
