Originally from Chicago, Mary’s passion for travel was ignited when she performed in Scotland’s Edinburgh Fringe Fest with her high school drama club. She then spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, where she discovered the delicious art of gelato flavor pairing. Mary holds a BA in Theater from St. Norbert College and an MS in Travel & Tourism from Temple University. Previously, Mary was the Event Coordinator at Foundation for Jewish Camp, where she managed all logistics for the annual Cornerstone Seminar. She also spent over a decade as a freelance event and theatrical stage manager specializing in new play development, corporate conferences, and large-scale parties for Lincoln Center Theater, Tencue Productions, and Actors Theatre of Louisville, among others. Mary is a photographer, sustainable travel content writer, and has had the wonderful opportunity to visit nearly 30 countries. She is based full time from her home in Durham, North Carolina, where she spends her days planning her next vacation, perfecting her pour-over, and taking long walks around the neighborhood with her husband, daughter, and dog.
