Shannon is from the Philadelphia area and earned her B.A. from Temple University in History and Spanish. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Arcadia University and a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). After spending a semester in Oviedo, Spain her experience abroad led her to pursue a career in international education and educational travel. Her professional pursuits include multiple conference presentations about the personal and professional benefits of educational travel, teaching a course focused on the intersection of cuisine and culture in Barcelona, and generating innovative and experiential programming for learners of all ages.
