Ben leads CET’s global IT operations, with responsibility for security, compliance, and AI adoption. He brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience and deep institutional knowledge to CET’s technology strategy and operations.
Ben joined CET in 2005, initially running a study abroad program in Beijing. He transitioned to technology after returning to the United States and has led CET’s IT efforts ever since. His background spans application and website development, network and systems administration, and—most recently—security, privacy, and responsible AI adoption. He has played a central role in designing and evolving the systems CET relies on to operate securely, efficiently, and at scale. In addition to IT leadership, Ben fulfills key compliance and business administration roles and serves on ATA’s Executive Team.
Ben holds an MA from George Washington University and a BA from the University of Michigan. Based near Salt Lake City, he enjoys wilderness education and exploring Utah’s deserts with his family.
