Samantha Barrie, Senior Manager, Accounts and Partnerships

Samantha grew up in the Washington, DC area and attended Northwestern University and New York University. She holds a BA in Arts Management and Theatre & Film Production. She has been on the artistic staffs of some of the country’s most prestigious non-profit theatres, including The Public Theater and Roundabout Theatre in New York and The Old Globe in San Diego. She has worked with some of the nation’s foremost theatre directors, playwrights, designers and actors in roles that have included casting,artistic development, artist relations and season programming. She is also the founder of Frozen Rope Productions. The passion which drove Samantha to pursue theatre is the same one which inspired her to explore educational travel; storytelling. There is a symbiosis between why people travel and why they see theatre. It is about exploration, curiosity, and seeking a deeper understanding of the human condition.  After fifteen years working on ideas, logistics and relationships in theatre, Samantha is thrilled to bring her producing expertise and an eye for the marriage of actor and role, to creating the perfect match between traveler and experience.
